Peer Schools
- US News & World Report
data I obtained from their Web site in Fall 2003. (Excel, 72kB).
This data ranks computer engineering and electrical engineering undergraduate
and graduate
programs. I also included data for overall school of engineering ranking,
school of engineering data such as research funding and PhD students/faculty,
and CS graduate program rankings.
- This is peer
data for schools selected by Mehregany as probably good models and
peers for ECE. He wants to collect data for benchmark schools but the
data on teaching contact hours has been difficult for us to get.

and hands out to incoming graduate students every fall. It contains
a complete listing of all graduate regulations.

- EECS MS Regulations
(Word, 52 kB) In the Summer of 2002 I prepared this document which compares
line-by-line the MS regulations between the four programs in the department.
There are significant omissions from some of the programs.Also, some
of the regulations are more clearly worded than others and/or may define
best practices.

The December 2003 Issue of IEEE Transactions on Education is a special edition
presenting a vision for ECE education in the year 2013 and beyond.
